We have high staff retention rates with over 75% of our staff having worked for LLED for over 10 years and provide ongoing training to ensure that all of our staff are up-to-speed with the latest best practice. We invest in people from the earliest stages of their careers, supporting our staff so that they can undertake further education.

Ben is an experienced executive and has been working in the industry for over 20 years. Responsible for heading up LLED, Ben has been working with us since 2018 and has grown the business from its origins as a local reactive maintenance company to a multi-million pound organisation working across multiple sectors in the UK. In his spare time Ben likes to go to the gym, socialise with friends and family and hang out with Patrick the Cockapoo.

Operations Manager - Maintenance

Matty has been with LLED for nearly a decade following 15 years working as a Carpenter on high-end private builds in Carlisle. He has progressed through the ranks starting as a Maintenance Engineer, to his current position as Operations Manager for the maintenance division. Away from work, Matty loves to spend time with his family, fly fishing and watching football.

Operations Manager – Small Works

Scott is a bricklayer by trade and after running his own building company for 7 years, he joined us in 2013. Working his way up through the ranks, Scott is now Operations Manager for our Small Works division. Outside of work he loves spending time with family and friends, holidaying in the sun and has a keen interest in motor sports.

Craig has been in the construction industry for 20 years, working on schools, hospitals and new build houses. He has been with LLED for over 13 years progressing from his position as an Engineer to Supervisor, and most recently, to Small Works Manager. Craig enjoys spending time with his family, going walking in the lake district and all things motorsport.

Office Manager

Michelle worked for many years within high street banking and finance and after a career break in Australia, she returned to the UK and joined LLED in May 2013. She started working on the helpdesk part time and is now responsible for running our head office at Carlisle. In her spare time Michelle enjoys a long walk with her dog Layla and reading horror novels.
